From Boat Inlet in Reid Passage,
the three boats planned to head for Fiordland. Naknek and
Wanderer left first. Naknek had lost her detailed electronic
charting and wouldn’t be able to correct the situation until she got to
Ketchikan. Consequently, Casey stayed close in tight passages. Maybe, I’d
captured myself a buddy boat. It hadn't mattered so far, the three
boats had been together since leaving Nanaimo.
