Spencerport had a dock, restrooms, electricity, water and music.  All free.

Brockport had more convenient restrooms, water and electricity.  Modest charge.
Spectators came with lawn chairs and by boat and kayak
Much of the Erie Canal to the west of the Cayuga-Seneca more closely resembles "Mr. Clinton's Ditch"
